My friends and I had a delicious Danish traditional lunch of open faced sandwiches at this cozy restaurant. We enjoyed local beer and a liqueur made by the family who owns the restaurant. The service was excellent and I’m glad we discovered this tucked away gem.

We rented the top floor hall for our Daughter's 18th birthday and had an amazing time. The buffet food was great. The owner's and staff were very friendly and easy to work with. The hall rental price and price for the buffet per person was worth the money.

We received a warm welcome from the owner. The food was made fresh. The staff was very friendly and recommended us the springrolls which were amazing. It was our first time eating Smørrebrød and we absolutely loved it. Everything was priced fairly.

Our visit to this family-run restaurant in Denmark was an absolute delight from start to finish. We started with their beautiful smørrebrød — traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches — each one an edible work of art. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with layers of flavor from the pickled herring, shrimp, and savory meats, all perfectly balanced with crisp vegetables, citrus, and fresh herbs. The real highlight of the experience, though, was the personal touch. Our server (and part of the family!) shared their house-made schnapps, explaining how it’s crafted from local ingredients. Tasting it felt like being invited into a Danish tradition — smooth, flavorful, and full of character, just like the people who make it. It’s rare to find a place that combines authenticity, warmth, and incredible food so effortlessly. This restaurant truly captures the heart of Danish culture — a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and genuine connection.

We tried their all-you-can-eat in 2 hours Smørrebrøds deal, and it was good. Nice assortment of classic pieces, all in a standard or Deluxe variant. Nice and humorous waiters and a cosy outdoor seating away from the pedestrian street.
